Frequently Asked Questions

How long do braces stay on? Answer: Average treatment time has decreased over the past ten years in our office, with the typical teenage treatment lasting about twenty-two months!

Am I too old for braces?
Answer: You are really never too old to enjoy the benefits of a great smile and healthy bite!

Will braces hurt?
Answer: No, braces don't hurt. The technologies we currently use really make the process of orthdontics as comfortable as possible!

What happens at the free evaluation?
Answer: You will receive a complete visual examination, a thorough discussion of the treatment recommendation, and a detailed investment plan for the planned treatment.

Is it too early for my child to be seen for a free evaluation?
Answer: Usually 6 years of age is a perfect time for the first visit to our office, but if something really is obviously an orthodontic problem at an earlier age, then an evaluation would be very beneficial for the child and parents.
